Can I bring my own parts?
We provide the best possible prices on parts but are always happy for you to provide your own. In this case we can only take responsibility for our mechanics workmanship in the unfortunate situation of a faulty part.
How regularly should you service your car?
Generally every 10000km or 6 months (whichever comes first), but the best way to find out how often you should service your car is to check your owner’s manual.
What does a minor logbook service include?
A minor logbook service usually includes an oil change, oil filter replacement and general vehicle inspection including brakes, fluid levels and a basic diagnostics check.
When do I need more than a minor logbook service?
The service schedule for your car is set by the manufacturer and will require different items to be replaced at different times. The best way to find out what service is due is to check your owner’s manual.
What does a minor logbook service cost?
A minor logbook service starts at $140 for small makes, $200 for medium / SUV and $240 for large / 4×4.
Does your car servicing void my new car warranty?
All Mechanic Mobile car servicing maintains your manufacturer’s warranty and is performed in accordance with requirements set by manufacturers.
Do you provide quotes on all car repairs?
We can provide quotes for car repairs that our mobile mechanic can perform. Some repairs may require a full workshop to undertake which cannot be provided as a mobile service.
Are you open on weekends?
We are open Saturday 9am to 4pm but closed on Sunday.
Do you provide roadworthy certificates?
Unfortunately we currently do not provide roadworthy certificates.
